On Tuesday, April 1st, the Huron Economic Response Task Force hosted a special online panel discussion titled Navigating Uncertainty: Preparing Your Business for 2025. The webinar brought together four local business leaders – Paul Nichol, Dr. Erin Ross, Trish Gill, and John Marshall – for a thoughtful conversation on how local businesses can respond to ongoing economic uncertainty related to the on-again, off-again tariff dispute with the United States.
We want to express our sincere thanks to each of our panelists for offering their time and expertise to support the Huron County business community. From mental health strategies and financial planning to workforce contingency plans and trade resilience, the panelists shared a wide range of perspectives to help business owners think critically about the months ahead. Each expert also shared two or three immediate steps businesses can take right now to strengthen their position going into an uncertain year.
This webinar was an initiative of the Huron Economic Response Task Force (Huron ERTF)—a partnership founded by the Huron Chamber of Commerce, the Bayfield and Area Chamber of Commerce, and the South Huron Chamber of Commerce. The task force now includes over a dozen local organizations working collaboratively to provide timely resources, information, and support to the business community across Huron County.
