Municipal Election Hub
The Huron Chamber of Commerce Municipal Election Hub brings together key information for the 2026 municipal election across Huron County. This page includes voting information, certified candidate lists, Chamber election priorities, details on Candidate Conversations events, and links to each municipality’s official election page.
Municipal councils make decisions that directly affect local business conditions, housing, infrastructure, taxation, service levels, economic development, and long-term community growth. This hub is intended to help Chamber members, candidates, and residents follow the election, understand the issues, and connect local decision-making with the priorities of Huron County’s business community.
Certified Candidate List
The following is the certified list of municipal council candidates for Huron County’s nine lower-tier municipalities, verified against the official candidate lists published by each municipality. School board trustee candidates are not included. Offices with more than one seat are marked with the number to be elected. Offices that sit on Huron County Council are marked with an asterisk.
Last updated: September 30, 2026.
Candidate websites and social media: All municipal council candidates were invited to submit campaign website and social media links for inclusion on this page. Links are included only where they were provided by the candidate. Destination URLs are published exactly as submitted and are not corrected or altered by the Huron Chamber of Commerce. Links are provided for information only and do not constitute an endorsement of any candidate or external content.
