GODERICH – Voters will get an opportunity to listen to candidates vying for provincial election in the Huron Bruce riding, in an all-candidates meeting co-hosted by Huron Chamber of Commerce – Goderich, Central and North Huron, Goderich Ministerial Association and the Huron Perth Association of Realtors.

All candidates have now confirmed attendance.

The all-candidates meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 25 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Lakeshore United Church, 56 North St., Goderich. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

“We are very pleased to partner with local community-minded organizations and contribute to the democratic process by providing a forum for voters to educate themselves on each candidate’s position,” said Heather Boa, who is the operations manager for the Huron Chamber of Commerce.

Each candidate will have two minutes to present opening remarks, followed by questions and answer, and two minutes of closing remarks. Questions posed to the candidates will be a combination of questions submitted online to the Chamber and written questions gathered from the audience. The questions may be asked by the moderator, with a select number of previewed questions returned to the members of the audience to ask. There will be no questions from the floor that have not been previewed by the all-candidates meeting committee.
