The Huron Chamber Workforce Roundtable is a monthly virtual discussion forum for employers and workforce partners to share information, explore labour market trends, and interpret what the numbers mean for Huron County.
This month’s meeting is a Special Election Edition. The regular format and focus of the Workforce Roundtable will remain largely unchanged, but the Chamber has specifically invited municipal election candidates from across Huron County to attend and learn more about the local labour market and the workforce issues affecting employers, workers, and communities across the county.
This is not a working group or a campaign event. It is an open, flexible conversation facilitated by the Chamber in its role as convener, catalyst, and champion. Each session takes place shortly after the release of new labour force data and provides an opportunity for participants to compare insights, raise questions, and stay connected on emerging workforce issues.
Candidates are welcome to ask questions and participate in the discussion where their comments relate to workforce, employment, labour market conditions, or relevant experiences in their communities. Participants are asked to keep the discussion focused on the subject matter of the roundtable rather than election campaigning.
Attendance remains optional, and all employers, workforce-related organizations, candidates, members of the public, and other interested participants are welcome.
