An ongoing series of Strategic Action Plan Town Hall Information Sessions for the Town of Goderich, hosted by the Huron Chamber of Commerce

The Huron Chamber of Commerce is once again partnering with the Town of Goderich to facilitate its ongoing series of Strategic Action Plan Town Hall Information Sessions, continuing the work of connecting community leaders and creating space for meaningful dialogue.

The next session will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 6:30 PM in the Huron County Museum Auditorium (110 North Street, Goderich). The session will feature a more structured agenda, focusing on specific items from the Town’s Strategic Action Plan. These items will be announced in advance of the meeting.

These sessions are designed to provide the Goderich community with an opportunity to:

  • Hear updates from members of Council on progress made toward the Town’s Strategic Action Plan;
  • Provide direct feedback and insight on community priorities; and
  • Engage with Council in a setting that is outside the formal structure of Council Chambers, encouraging a more open, informal, and accessible conversation.

This follows two very successful sessions held in May and November of 2024, both of which were well attended and featured engaged, thoughtful dialogue between Council members and constituents.

The May session is part of a series of alternating evening and daytime events, with the next session scheduled for November 2025 during daytime hours.

As an independent, non-profit organization, the Huron Chamber of Commerce is proud to act as a neutral convener, helping to facilitate constructive conversations between governments and the communities they serve. We look forward to continuing this important work in Goderich and in communities across Huron County.
