Just in time to take on Amazon’s Prime Days, the Huron Chamber of Commerce is launching a better way to find local deals: Chamber Perks, a brand-new mobile app that helps people discover local deals, support local businesses, and save money — all right here in Huron County.
Now available for free on iOS and Android, using the Chamber Perks app is open to everyone — not just Chamber members. The app makes it easy to shop and save local by showing perks and promotions from trusted local businesses in every corner of the county.
“This is about giving people an alternative to sending more money to American billionaires,” says Colin Carmichael, Executive Director of the Huron Chamber of Commerce. “Chamber Perks puts real savings in people’s pockets and real support behind the businesses that make Huron County strong.”
Whether you’re a regular local shopper or just visiting the area, Chamber Perks helps you discover what’s available nearby. Browse perks by business category or location, find something that interests you, and redeem in-store, online, or by phone — it’s all just a few taps away.
Deals You’ll Actually Use
You’ll find a wide range of perks in the app: discounts at restaurants and boutiques, offers from service providers, seasonal promotions, and member-only specials. Some are new promotions made just for the app. Others are existing deals that now have more visibility thanks to Chamber Perks.
And exclusive Chamber-only deals aren’t just for business owners — they also extend to employees of Huron Chamber member businesses, making it a great value-add for local workplaces.
Three Types of Perks in the App:
- Public Perks — Available to anyone using the app, no membership required.
- Huron Chamber Perks — Available to members of the Huron Chamber of Commerce and their employees.
- Chamber Member Perks — Available to members of any Chamber of Commerce — ideal for business travelers, visitors, and tourism-linked perks.
