Each month, the Four County Labour Market Planning Board (FCLMPB) releases a report on unemployment for our region. These reports offer valuable insights into the workforce trends in Huron County, but the numbers are sometimes hard to interpret and they differ significantly from the provincial numbers we see reported in most of our mainstream media – with some notable local exceptions who report the local numbers!
I invited Dana Soucie, Executive Director of the FCLMPB to join me for an inaugural “Chamber Chat” to help shed some light on the numbers and what they mean for our members.
