New BBB Partnership Brings More Value to Chamber Membership

The Huron Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new partnership with Better Business Bureau, SW Ontario that will provide added value for Chamber members and create new opportunities for collaboration between the two organizations. Through the partnership, Huron Chamber members that apply and qualify for BBB Accreditation will be eligible for a 15 per cent discount on their first-year accreditation fees. The discount gives members another practical way to save money through their Chamber membership, while supporting businesses that choose to pursue BBB Accreditation as part of their commitment to trust, transparency, and customer confidence.

Huron County Council has approved the Huron County Economic Development Strategic Plan 2026–2030, setting a five-year framework for the County’s economic development work and a 10-year vision for sustainable growth. For the Huron Chamber of Commerce, the plan provides important context for work that intersects with County priorities, including business support, workforce development, investment readiness, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and collaboration across the local economic development ecosystem. The Chamber will continue working with Huron County Economic Development, municipalities, BIAs, Community Futures Huron, sector partners, and members across the county to support business success and community resilience.
