
After a tornado, a pandemic and the threat of a recession, we’re sure it’s the right time to bring business owners and staff together to challenge their brains and brawn, share a few laughs and try to capture our top three awards.
The Huron Chamber of Commerce- Goderich, Central and North Huron and Engage Goderich have teamed up to bring back the Corporate Challenge, which only members with long memories will remember! In 2023, we offer you the Royal LePage Heartland Realty Corporate Challenge, with a nod of thanks to our title sponsor.
This event will be held Friday, June 23 at the Memorial Arena, 180 McDonald St., Goderich. We hope the weather gods will co-operate and provide us with a warm-but-not-too-warm and sunny-but-not-too-sunny day to hang out outdoors. If we end up with rain, we’ll head indoors.
A chamber committee is sworn to secrecy on the zany competitions that are in the works. Let’s just say that there are Challenge Stations that will put your problem-solving, brute strength, attention to detail, communication, patience and teamwork to the test. Certainly, there’s no cheating, but if you can distract your competition, go for it. This is also a chance to dress in some crazy uniforms. Let’s make it a day of fun.
Our committee cannot be bribed, but if you want to thank them for organizing the event, please go right ahead. Teams of four to six members are invited to participate. Chamber members and non-members welcome. Member rate, $175, will apply if the majority of team players are from Chamber member businesses. Non-member team rate is $225. If you want to participate but are short a few players, let us know and we will try to connect you.

Check in at 12:30 pm. Opening ceremonies at 1 pm, with competition to follow. Closing ceremonies and awards at 4:30 pm. Spectators welcome.
Square Brew will be set up for beverages and Harbour Hill Retirement Community will run the barbecue. Stuff some cash in your socks ’cause these folks won’t be set up for plastic.

This station sponsorship is available to you at an investment of $150 ($100 when bundled with Huron Chamber of Commerce Charity Golf Tournament Hole Sponsorship of $150).
