Chamber Golf Tournament planned for September 17
The Huron Chamber of Commerce Charity Golf Tournament is back.
Gather your friends or co-workers and register for a fun afternoon of golfing 18 holes, followed by a steak dinner at Woodlands Links Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 17. Tournament title sponsor HuronTel has chosen Victim Services Huron County as the charity of choice for this event.
“We’re building on our tournaments of the past to create a fresh event that will appeal to both the serious and not-so-serious golfers,” said Tom Williscraft, Golf Tournament Chair.
“It’s our first opportunity since the start of the pandemic to get together and enjoy a fun gathering. We’re really looking forward to the day,” he said.
The tournament begins with a noon shotgun start. At each hole, teams will learn five pieces of information about the hole sponsor and will be challenged to a quiz at the end of their round. Teams that answer the quiz correctly will be placed in a draw for prizes. Golfers will receive swag and prizes donated by local businesses.
To register, fill out the registration form at the bottom of the page or click here to download the registration form. Registration deadline is Sept. 7.

And the opportunity to contribute to Victim Services Huron County fits nicely with our business philosophy of contributing to community,” said Ryan McClinchey, General Manager, HuronTel.
